En el tratamiento de los atletas equinos de alto rendimiento -desde los caballos Warmblood de doma cl\u00e1sica hasta los caballos cuarto de milla de carreras de barriles- el margen de error en la rehabilitaci\u00f3n es inexistente. Aqu\u00ed es donde <strong>terapia l\u00e1ser para caballos<\/strong> (conocida cient\u00edficamente como fotobiomodulaci\u00f3n o PBM) ha pasado de ser una modalidad \u201calternativa\u201d a convertirse en una piedra angular de la pr\u00e1ctica veterinaria.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Sin embargo, en el mercado persiste un malentendido cr\u00edtico. No todas las luces son iguales. El \u00e1rea de la secci\u00f3n transversal (CSA) mostr\u00f3 una alteraci\u00f3n de las fibras 30% con importantes zonas hipoecoicas (negras) que indicaban desgarro de l\u00edquido y fibras.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Protocolo terap\u00e9utico:<\/strong> Utilizamos una Clase IV <strong>m\u00e1quina de terapia l\u00e1ser para caballos<\/strong> capaz de suministrar 15 vatios de potencia de onda continua (CW).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Fase 1 (Aguda - D\u00edas 1-7):<\/strong>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Objetivo:<\/strong> Reduce la inflamaci\u00f3n y el edema sin sobrecalentar el tejido.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Entorno:<\/strong> Emisi\u00f3n pulsada (ISP) para gestionar la acumulaci\u00f3n t\u00e9rmica.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Dosificaci\u00f3n:<\/strong> 4 J\/cm\u00b2. Energ\u00eda total: 1.200 julios por sesi\u00f3n.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Frecuencia:<\/strong> A diario.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>T\u00e9cnica:<\/strong> M\u00e9todo de exploraci\u00f3n sin contacto sobre los tendones flexores de la RF.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Fase 2 (Subaguda - Semanas 2-4):<\/strong>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Objetivo:<\/strong> Estimular la actividad de los fibroblastos y la alineaci\u00f3n del col\u00e1geno.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Entorno:<\/strong> Onda continua (CW) mezclada con pulsaciones de baja frecuencia.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Dosificaci\u00f3n:<\/strong> Aumentado a 8 J\/cm\u00b2. Energ\u00eda total: 2.500 julios.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Frecuencia:<\/strong> 3 veces por semana.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>T\u00e9cnica:<\/strong> M\u00e9todo de contacto con cabezal de bola de masaje para desplazar la sangre y aumentar la penetraci\u00f3n de los fotones.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Resultado cl\u00ednico (Semana 8):<\/strong> La ecograf\u00eda de reexamen mostr\u00f3 un llenado acelerado de la lesi\u00f3n. La alineaci\u00f3n de las fibras (medida por exploraci\u00f3n fuera de incidencia) era superior a la de los controles hist\u00f3ricos tratados s\u00f3lo con reposo. El vac\u00edo \u201chipoecoico\u201d fue sustituido por tejido lineal ecog\u00e9nico.
