Vestir uma camisa causa dor. Dormir do lado afetado acorda o doente. Levantar o bra\u00e7o acima do n\u00edvel do ombro provoca uma sensa\u00e7\u00e3o aguda de pux\u00e3o, enquanto atividades repetidas com os bra\u00e7os acima da cabe\u00e7a podem deixar o ombro dorido durante horas a seguir.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Para o fisioterapeuta, a dificuldade reside no facto de o tend\u00e3o do supraespinhoso n\u00e3o ser um alvo superficial.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">O laser tem de transmitir energia atrav\u00e9s da pele e do tecido subcut\u00e2neo antes de o tratamento atingir a regi\u00e3o do manguito rotador. Ao mesmo tempo, o simples aumento da pot\u00eancia n\u00e3o constitui uma forma fi\u00e1vel de melhorar a dose no tend\u00e3o. Uma maior pot\u00eancia tamb\u00e9m pode aumentar a carga t\u00e9rmica superficial.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u00c9 aqui que um <strong>laser para fisioterapia<\/strong> deve ser considerado um sistema de dosagem e n\u00e3o apenas uma fonte de luz de alta pot\u00eancia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Um ensaio cl\u00ednico aleat\u00f3rio controlado, realizado em 2025 por investigadores da Universidade Tarbiat Modares e da Universidade de Ci\u00eancias M\u00e9dicas do Ir\u00e3o, investigou a terapia a laser de alta pot\u00eancia no tratamento de rupturas de espessura parcial do tend\u00e3o do supraespinhoso. Trinta e seis doentes foram aleatoriamente distribu\u00eddos entre o grupo de terapia a laser de alta pot\u00eancia associada a exerc\u00edcios e o grupo de laser simulado associado a exerc\u00edcios, com dez sess\u00f5es de tratamento realizadas tr\u00eas vezes por semana. O estudo utilizou um sistema de alta pot\u00eancia com uma pot\u00eancia m\u00e1xima de 20 W, tendo registado 2 478 J nas tr\u00eas primeiras sess\u00f5es, seguidas de 4 678 J nas sete sess\u00f5es subsequentes.
