FREQUENTLY ASKED & QUEASTIONS

What is Hemorrhoids?

Hemorrhoids, often known as piles, a common condition affecting millions worldwide, can cause discomfort and pain. Hemorrhoids are classified into two types: internal, located inside the rectum, and external, under the skin around the anus. They result from increased pressure in the lower rectum due to straining during bowel movements, obesity, or pregnancy, leading to bulging or swollen veins.

What is Laser Hemorrhoidoplasty?

Laser energy is directly delivered into the hemorrhoidal pile by radial fiber, which is used to thermally close off the veins nourishing this abnormal growth from the inside. In doing so, it can help preserve the mucosa and sphincter structure with extremely high precision. The laser energy induces destruction of the venous epithelium and simultaneous obliteration of the hemorrhoidal pile by a shrinkage effect.

Why choose laser hemorrhoidoplasty?
  • Simple and safe out-patient treatment
  • Very good hemostasis, minimal blood loss
  • Minimal damage to the surrounding tissue, such as anal sphincter
  • Reduced pain and discomfort
  • Open wounds and sutures are not seen
  • Quick recovery, minimal risk of post-surgical complications
