The veterinary team at Xinjiang Kuitun Youmeikang Animal Clinic implemented a high-energy laser therapy protocol for the cat presenting with limb swelling, pain, soft tissue damage, and restricted motor function following surgical reduction and fixation for bilateral forelimb fractures caused by a high fall. During the treatment cycle, daily high-energy laser therapy was administered. The symptoms of limb swelling, blood stasis, abnormal skin temperature, and localized stiffness in the cat’s affected limbs gradually improved. Blood circulation at the injury site became progressively unobstructed, muscle activity in the damaged forelimbs steadily revived, joint stiffness and flexion/extension difficulties were effectively alleviated, the range of motion gradually expanded, and touch-induced pain was significantly reduced.
