Fatigue recovery
Principles of Laser Therapy
In high-level sport activities, the horses must maintain their peak state of strength. However, horse have only a limited time frame to recover from intensive training sessions and matches, and failure to regain their prime performance state in the given time may result in soreness and severe decline in muscular performance. Common approaches for enhancing muscular performance or speeding up soreness recovery include anti – inflammatory analgesics and massage, but these methods have their limitations. High – power laser therapy is a non – invasive and non – pharmacological treatment. It can accelerate blood circulation, reduce serum creatine kinase) and lactate concentrations, alleviate delayed onset muscle soreness, and notably shorten the soreness recovery time.

Wound Healing
PBMT treatments began on day 8 after the wound was injured and were treated at the time ofthe bandage change. The laser treatment was very positive and avoided the need to remove granulation tissue. The wound contracted very well and the epithelial margins extended naturally over the entire wound bed.
Protocol: wounds
Treatment course: 1x/day for 1-2 weeks, 2-3x/week for 1-2 weeks
